You know already after the verbs быть, стать, работать we use the Instrumental Case when we speak about a profession:
My father is a doctor.
I want to be an engineer.
This student will be an economist.
Pay attention! After the verbs
we use the Instrumental Case with the preposition С.
For example:
Ivan wish his friend a happy birthday.
A friend introduced me to a girl.
We met the teacher.
Every Saturday I’m meeting a friend.
